My Library Card

You need to bring your library card whenever you wish to borrow or use the internet at the library. With your library card, you can also:

  • Renew and Check Loans
  • View Reservations
  • View Borrowing History
  • View Fines
  • Manage Favourites

Online Library Card Access Currently Unavailable

Due to technical difficulties, our online library card access is currently unavailable. We hope to have the service back up and running again soon and apologise for any inconvenience.

Reporting a Lost Card

If you lose your Library card, contact any Kingston library immediately, as you're responsible for all items borrowed on your card. To replace your card, please see staff at any branch, showing identification with your name and current address on it. A charge of $4.40 is incurred for replacing a lost card.

Reporting a Change of Details

If your personal details have changed please come into any library with identification showing your new details.

Damaged Cards

If your Library card has been damaged, come into any one of our library branches with the damaged card to have it replaced.

Please note: If you believe there may be printing money left on your damaged card, please inform library staff replacing your card so that they can check and transfer any remaining credit.

Items can be returned at any of the 9 branches in Kingston. Returns chutes are open after hours at all branches except Westall.
