- The item has not been placed on reserve by another borrower.
The item is renewed with the usual borrowing period for that format starting from the day of renewal. You can renew your library items using 3 options:
- Online: You can renew your items online by going to https://netopac.kingston.vic.gov.au/amlibweb/webquery.dll?v20=1&v22=2F. You will need to have your library card number and PIN to be able to access this feature. Please ask staff at any branch if you wish to have a PIN allocated to your card.
- Via telephone: Call the library on 1300 135 668, and have your library card number ready.
- In person: Let the library staff know the titles of the items you wish to renew.
Items can be returned at any of the 9 branches in Kingston.
Items borrowed must be returned during opening hours on the due date. You will be liable to pay fines or costs incurred for materials that are returned late, lost or damaged. Your information may be given to debt/property recovery agencies if you do not return resources. If charges are owing on a card, borrowing or renewal privileges and access to library computers and Wi-Fi will be suspended.
Late fines are charged at 35c per item per day, up to $7.00 per item. All charges must be paid prior to borrowing.
