New Library Management System
Kingston Libraries is preparing to upgrade to a new library management system!
What does this mean? It means that our current online catalogue will be replaced with a new catalogue that offers many great improvements and new features that we can't wait to show you.
When will this change happen?
Steps to switch over to the new system will commence on Friday 12 April and are scheduled to be completed on Wednesday 1 May.
How will I be affected?
During the official transition period, new items will be delayed in going out on the shelves and we will need to temporarily disable some features, including online renewals and reservations. You will still be able to renew your items if you bring them into the library, however to avoid inconvenience to you we will be automatically extending your loans over this period and our library staff will be happy to put any items aside for you - free of charge.
While we transition to the new system there will be no access to current catalogue information. Our friendly library staff will be on hand to assist with locating items for you as usual.
