Join us as we celebrate International Women's Day. This year's theme is #EmbraceEquity.

The annual Kingston Women of the Year Awards will be presented at the International Women’s Day ceremony hosted on Wednesday 8 March 2023. 

The Awards celebrate the outstanding contribution that women make to industry, community, and society.

Nominees of this award are women who are leaders in their field, who inspire others and who make a difference to our community through their exceptional professional or personal achievements. We are celebrating nominees across four categories:

  • Courageous commitment
  • Excelling in arts and sport
  • Inspiring innovation
  • Success in STEM

This event will be hosted by Kitty Rae, finalist in Kingston Women of the Year Awards 2022.

Keynote by Chyloe Kurdas: Chyloe is a former elite Australian rules footballer, and is now a television and radio sports commentator. She was one of the first women to play football on the MCG. Chyloe also led the implementation of Vision 2025, Golf Australia’s long-term strategy to enhance the engagement of women and girls in golf. She is currently the Inclusion & Diversity Manager at Australian Red Cross.

The entry to this event is free, however bookings are essential for catering purposes. Please book your tickets online by Wednesday 1 March 2023.

Due to the large number of expected attendees, the Kingston Arts Centre car park may be busy on the day. If you are unable to find a space in the car park you can park in any timed parking bay (with the exception of ¼P bays) in the surrounding streets for the duration of the event.

Kingston City Hall is a 5-minute walk from Moorabbin Train Station if you would prefer to leave your car at home.
