YouMeUs - Achieving Inclusion

online training that promotes inclusion of people with disability

What is YouMeUs?

YouMeUs is a free online disability awareness training program. The training focuses on key areas such as attitudes, terminology, communication strategies, modifications and challenging behaviours. Your staff and volunteers can watch the video, complete the quizzes and receive a certificate of completion. It is a great addition to your induction program.

There are three programs to choose from Leisure Centres, Community Centres and Council Staff.  Simply use the program that best suits your organisation, you can also do them all for additional tips.

Our vision is to promote an understanding of differences in the community, challenge public perceptions of stereotypes, highlight the abilities of people with disability and support the development of inclusive communities.

Visit YouMeUs to find out more.
