The City of Kingston's first mural linked to the Sub-Urban Art Program has now been completed by local artist James Beattie in the Kingston City Hall car park in Moorabbin and local artist James Beattie.
The Sub-Urban Art Program is directed at tagging hotspots and aims to establish temporary public art to enliven Kingston’s spaces. An important aspect of the Sub-Urban Art Program is finding opportunities to mentor young, aspiring artists. During the installation, James worked alongside local young people to help steer their artistic abilities in a positive direction.
