Works to replace the gangways and pontoon at the Governor Road Boat Ramp (accessible from the George Woords Carpark) are scheduled to commence on June 15th and will take approximately 3 weeks to complete. The existing old pontoons will be removed and recycled before being replaced by new floating concrete pontoons.

The boat ramp, sections of the car park and onsite toilets will be closed for the duration of the works.

There will also be dredging works underway for several weeks at this site.

Whilst the works aim to improve accessibility to Mordialloc Creek, please note that there may be some closures, delays and other inconveniences whilst the works are underway. For more details on these, please visit this link.
