Celebrating Kingston’s young achievers
14 March 2017
Kingston’s young achievers will be celebrated during National Youth Week in April and the community is invited to nominate worthy young people to be included.
Nominations are now open for the Kingston Young Citizen of the Year Award which will be announced at a special event during Youth Week.
Kingston Mayor David Eden said young people were making a positive impact throughout our community but often went unacknowledged.
“These awards are a great chance to publicly commend local young people who are making a difference in Kingston,” Cr Eden said.
“We’re looking for people making a positive difference in a local community group, through volunteering or at their school.”
Nominations are now open and can be made online at kingstonyouth.org.au or by phoning 1300 369 436.
