Beat school holiday boredom with Kingston Libraries’ free school holiday fun

8 January 2018

Kingston’s Libraries and community centres are keeping children entertained during the summer school holidays with a host of free activities.

Kingston Mayor Steve Staikos said the popular events were a great way to stave off boredom during the holiday break.

“Come along for a range of fun, active, interesting holiday events suited for kids of all ages including crafts, games, movies, storytimes, workshops and more,” Cr Staikos said.

“All events are free however children under 10 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.”

In addition to the school holiday activities, there are traditional board games to play at all Kingston Libraries branches, Wii Games at Clarinda Library, a green screen at Chelsea and Westall Libraries plus Xbox One Games available at Westall, Parkdale, Chelsea and Cheltenham Libraries.
