Popular children’s and teen authors coming to town

Kingston Libraries will host visits from renowned children's authors Morris Gleitzman and James Phelan this month.

Morris Gleitzman, author of hits After and Boy Overboard, is one of Australia's most successful and experienced children's authors.

Cheltenham Library will host a visit and book signing from Gleitzman on Tuesday 30 August where he will discuss his writing process and brand of unforgettable humour.

Melbourne author James Phelan has built a strong following thanks to his gripping thrillers, young adult novels and middle-years fiction that appeal to both boys and girls alike.

Phelan will be the guest presenter at a writing workshop, one of the many activities held throughout the year for the Readz teen club joint project by Kingston Libraries and Kingston Youth Services.
