Cartwheel, summersault or dive into school holiday fun
7 June 2016
Kingston has the winter school holidays sewn up with heaps of activities to chase boredom away, including crafty workshops, movies and Minecraft along with trampoline fun, snow trips and heaps more in an action-packed holiday care program.
There’s plenty of fun and adventure on offer thanks to Kingston’s holiday activities at Kingston Libraries, Kingston Arts, Waves Leisure Centres and Kingston’s Holiday Program run at four local schools.
Kingston Mayor Tamsin Bearsley said Council had a large program of holiday activities to help local families care for children during school breaks. "There’s never a dull moment with these activities aimed at children of all ages and interests," Cr Bearsley said.
"At a time of year when it’s chilly there are plenty of great holiday ideas to keep the kids occupied and entertained. This suits working families looking for full-day supervised activities right through to quick activities for just an hour or two," she said.
Council has a Holiday Program at Bonbeach Primary, Dingley Primary, Moorabbin Primary and at Aspendale’s Yarrabah School.
Join us for exciting excursions – trampolining, Puffing Billy, rock climbing, day trips and more – plus a host of fun activities including drumming workshops, animal visits, crafts and cooking.
