Keep your Friday nights’ free – Pop Up Bar returns in February

13 January 2021

Enjoy free live music, DJs, gourmet food trucks and more when the Pop Up Bar returns to the Kingston City Hall every Friday evening in February 2021.

Kingston Mayor Steve Staikos said it’s wonderful to see the free annual event return to Moorabbin.

“This is a great chance to gather together with friends, family and workmates to enjoy great live music right here in the neighbourhood,” Cr Staikos said.

Experience a great line up of musical acts over four weekends, including:

  • Friday 5 February Brian Mannix & The Androids delivering classic, party rock’n’roll hits.
  • Friday 12 February Stand & Deliver Australia’s best 80’s tribute band.
  • Friday 19 February The Robbie Williams Experience performing a mix of Robbie’s best plus a selection of covers spanning the decades.
  • Friday 26 February The Marty Rose Band features some of Australia’s best entertainers, playing original and covers from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

For the art lovers, Eddie Balic and ArtBar Melbourne will join the Pop Up Bar to create live art murals.

“This will be the ninth year that the Pop Up Bar brings family-friendly fun to the historic Kingston City Hall forecourt – and we’re delighted to be able to bring it back after the year that we’ve had,” said Cr Staikos.
