Help shape Mordialloc’s much-loved Peter Scullin Reserve and playground
8 February 2021
Mordialloc’s popular Peter Scullin Reserve is getting a facelift and we would love to know what you would like to see in the reserve.
Council is planning a major upgrade of the reserve including a new playground for the community and will also be developing a plan to guide future improvements in this precinct.
Kingston Mayor Steve Staikos said this is a terrific opportunity for the community to let Council know what they’d like to see improved at the popular foreshore reserve.
“As part of the redevelopment we’d like to create an inclusive playspace for a wide range of age groups with both traditional play equipment combined with natural elements,” said Cr Staikos. “But it’s really up to the community to tell us what they want and how they would like to see the area enhanced, to ensure our plans meet the needs of our community.”
We want you to ‘Have Your Say’ on the elements that need to be considered in the development of this new park plan, to ensure it reflects community needs and values. Your feedback will then help inform the concept plans for the upgrades.
The community will have another opportunity to provide input on the concept plans once they have been developed.
