Consumer Affairs and Kingston Libraries join forces to fight scammers

Find out about the latest scams and how to avoid them thanks to a partnership between Kingston Libraries and Consumer Affairs Victoria.
Clarinda Library is hosting a Consumer Affairs Victoria presentation on how to recognise and avoid scams.
Kingston Mayor Steve Staikos said the free event would help protect the community from scammers.
“Scams might be from a doorknocker, over the phone or on the computer and this session will help our community recognise and avoid potential scams,” Cr Staikos said. “It’s just one of many interesting courses on offer at Kingston’s Libraries throughout the year.”
