Tips for choosing goggles

Goggles should fit snugly, but not too tight. If they are too tight, they can give your child a headache. To test fit, push goggles firmly into eye sockets (do not use straps). The goggles should remain in place by suction for a second which means they are making a good seal. If they do not, they may not be the right goggles you or your child so try another style.

Tips for caring for your goggles

To ensure swimming goggles are well maintained, they should be rinsed in fresh water after each swim. Swimming goggles should also be stored out of the sun and away from any possible hard knocks or bumps that may crack them. Stored in the case they were purchased in will prevent them from getting scratched when rolling around in a swimmer’s sport bag.
