News>Carrum Foreshore Precinct - Work in Progress
Following public consultation with local residents in March, 2012, a public meeting on 27 March, 2012 and a second round of public consultation in May, 2012, work has commenced on landscape elements of the Carrum Foreshore Precinct Plan. In addition to the construction of a new Carrum Life Saving Club which is currently under construction, the following works are scheduled in-progress or have been completed:

 | Construction of the Carrum erosion control wall (Completed) |  | Construction of the erosion control wall-top boardwalk (Commenced in September) |  | Removal of timber light poles and overhead wires at the southern section of Carrum Foreshore (November, 2012 to March, 2013) |  | Construction of the new playground and outdoor decking areas adjacent to the new Carrum Life Saving Club building (March, 2013 to June, 2013) |
