News>The Grange Playground Redevelopment - Have your say
As part of Council’s Playground Renewal Programme, a landscape concept plan has been prepared illustrating proposed playground redevelopment works at The Grange Reserve, on Osborne Avenue in Clayton South (Melway reference 79 F 8). Please find below a Landscape Concept Plan (double-sided) for your reference.

| The new play space design was inspired by the unique forest setting at The Grange Reserve along with the well-known 1966 Westall Flying Saucer incident. Key elements of the design include:
The creation of a unique, new play space with equipment for all age groups
A custom-designed UFO play structure
A natural play area with dry creek bed and play cubbies based on The Three Little Pigs
Improved paths and park furniture
Car park re-surfacing
New park lights
New tree planting.
