The community is invited to a free Electric Wheelchair and Scooter Safety Workshop, featuring a complimentary safety check from a qualified technician, on Tuesday 14 August 2012.

| The workshop will include presentations from a qualified Occupational Therapist and Scooters Australia and cover information on road rules and laws, safe scooter driving and things to consider before buying a scooter.
There will also be a qualified technician available to pump up tyres, check batteries and give residents’ scooters an overall safety check. This service is free for workshop attendees.
The workshop is being held from 9.45am-12pm on Tuesday 14 August 2012 in the Auditorium at Southern Community Church of Christ, 8-12 Chesterville Road, Cheltenham.
