| The Gala Dinner and Charity Auction is the major fundraising event for the Kingston Charitable Fund each year, raising vital money which is distributed to local charities by way of grants.
Tthe Gala Dinner is set to be an elegant evening featuring fine dining and live entertainment at the magnificent Woodlands Gold Club, all while raising important funds to support local charities through a major auction, silent auction and raffle, with goods generously donated by local businesses and individuals.
The evening will include a special performance by award-winning soloist Kathryn Radcliffe and a number of exciting items have been donated for auction including:

A six day Tasmanian holiday for two, with overnight stays in Launceston, Swansea, Port Arthur and Hobart. Donated by APT Tours

An Etihad Stadium corporate suite package where four guests will experience fully catered, first class football viewing. Donated by SITA Australia
Last year’s dinner raised a total of $72,000 which has contributed to over $650,000 deposited into the Fund since it was launched only five years ago. Council’s vision is to grow the Fund to $1 million so that it can provide a perpetual source of income for charitable organisations that support Kingston residents.
Money raised by the Fund goes into a corpus and the interest raised each year is distributed back into the community to charities by way of grants.
Tickets to the event are $130 per person, or $1300 for a table of ten and can be purchased by completing a booking form on Council’s website www.kingston.vic.gov.au/charitablefund | |
