| Works have begun on the new Carrum Surf Life Saving Club, which will provide excellent facilities for the Club as well as serving broader community needs.
Council recognises the value and importance of Life Saving clubs andis contributing approximately $1 million to the overall project including fees and permit costs.
The remainder of the project is being funded in partnership with Carrum Surf Life Saving Club and Life Saving Victoria, who are collectively contributing a further $710,000 to the project.
The new building is still expected to be completed in March next year.
