Please find attached a copy of the draft Kingston Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2009 - 2013 which was approved for community comment at the Ordinary Council Meeting of 26 October 2009.
The draft Kingston Public Health and Wellbeing Plan has been developed out of Council’s community and legal obligations under the new Public Health and Wellbeing Act (2008) which comes into effect in January 2010.
Through the Kingston Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2009 - 2013 Council acknowledges its responsibilities to residents in developing and promoting healthy, strong and connected communities.
The Kingston Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2009 - 2013 was developed after extensive community consultation and identifies a number of key themes which emerged from the consultations. These themes have formed the basis of the key strategic directions where Council’s efforts and resources will be focused.

| Kingston’s residents are invited to provide feedback and comment on the draft Kingston Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2009 - 2013.
