Getting the Board You Deserve - Board Governance for Arts Organisations - With Michael Mitchener
This workshop is a must for every arts organisation working with a committee or board. Whether new or running for 20 years, all Boards and people who work with them need a fresh look on a regular basis to reinvigorate them and make sure they’re heading in the right direction. This workshop covers the basics of legal and financial governance, relationships between the Board, staff and volunteers and the need for strategic planning and thinking. It looks at what’s different about running an arts organisation and how to keep the Board running effectively.
