Four Year Old Sessional Kindergarten Central Enrolment
Four year old sessional kindergarten applications for 2018 open on 1 May 2017
Submit your application between 1 May and June 2017 to be included in the first allocation round. Three allocation rounds are held in July and August of each year.
The Four Year Old Sessional Kindergarten Central Enrolment Scheme is administered by the City of Kingston on behalf of community operated sessional kindergarten providers in Kingston.

A non refundable fee of $23 is required with each application. There is no charge for current Health Care Card or Pensioner Card Holders.

Four Year Old Sessional Kindergarten Enrolment Applications are prioritised based on the child's residential proximity and prior connection to the service of their first preference.

This Central Enrolment process applies to four year old sessional kindergarten only, however kindergarten services also deliver three year old sessional kindergarten. How do families apply to register with the Central Enrolment Scheme?
|Visit the kindergarten services and decide on the kindergarten that best meets your needs
||Complete an Application Form
||Submit your Application Form online or in person from 1st May in the year prior to your child attending funded kindergarten
||Allocations begin mid July. If you receive an offer you must contact the kindergarten within five working days to confirm your place.
What if things change?
If your circumstances change and you need to amend the details on your application form please complete a Change of Application Form
Where is it offered?
Funded Kindergarten is offered in community kindergartens, child care centres, children's centres and schools and are managed by volunteer committees, not for profit cluster or service managers. To find out more about other great kindergarten options in Kingston click here
Is my child eligible?
To be eligible for Funded Kindergarten children must be four years of age or older by 30 April in the year they start kindergarten.
No Jab No Play
From the 1st January 2016, new legislation known as "No Jab No Play" commenced in Victoria. From this date, all children enrolling in early childhood education and care services will need to be up to date with their immunisation or have an approved exemption. Under this new legislation you will be asked by the kindergarten/preschool to provide your child's vaccination records to meet these new requirements.
