Budding young cinematographers have a chance to win fabulous prizes and see their work on the silver screen as part of the Big Green Short Film Competition.

| The theme of the competition is “Let’s talk green” and students are asked to create a 90 second short film, which can be in any style including documentary or narrative.
The Big Green Short Film Competition aims to get young people talking about the environment with their peers.
Entries close on 16 March 2012 and the competition finals will be on Friday, 23 March 2012 at the Big Green Schools Conference. Finalists in the short film competition will be screened and the Best Film and Audience Award will be announced.
Winning students will receive $250 worth of prizes and their films will be shown at an international conference, the Melbourne Water International Kids Teaching Kids River Conference 2012. In addition, winning schools will receive sponsorship to attend the Kids Teaching Kids International River Health Conference being held in Melbourne in October.
Any Australian Primary or Secondary School Student can enter individually or in groups.
