The City of Kingston provides a range of School Aged Care programs at selected venues across the municipality. These programs include Vacation Care, Before School Care, After School Care and Curriculum Day Care.

Vacation Care
Our vacation care program operates throughout the school holidays at five venues across the municipality. The program offers care to primary school aged Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) during school holidays.

Qualified and experienced staff provide recreational activities for children to enjoy including excursions, incursions, workshops, sporting clinics, art and craft, games and cooking classes.

Before and After School Care
We offer quality accredited before and after school care for primary school aged children throught the school term (excluding public holidays) in a supervised, relaxed, safe and fun environment. Programs provide positive social opportunities and cater for the children of parents who work, study or have other commitments.

Activities include a range of age appropriate recreation oppurtunites including structured and unstructured indoor and outdoor games, art, craft, cooking and special events.

Curriculum Days
Where a school serviced by the the City of Kingston before and after school care provides adequate notice of a Curriculum Day, Enrolment Forms will be made available at the program. Curriculum Day care will only operate where there is a minimum of fifteen (15) children requiring care.
 
Hours and Costs

Before School Care   6.45am-8.45am during school terms (excluding public holidays)   $13.00 per child per session    
After School Care   3.15pm-6.15pm during school terms (excluding public holidays)   $15.50 per child per session    
Vacation Care   7.30am-6pm during school holidays (excluding public holidays)   $40 per day per child (plus excursion and workshop costs)    
Curriculum Days   7.30am-6pm (when care is offered)   $40 per day per child     

Commonwealth Childcare Benefit
The Commonwealth Childcare Benefit is available to eligible families. To apply call the Family Assistance Office on 136150
