The City of Kingston provides a variety of different landscapes, with 13 kms of beautiful foreshore, the fascinating fishing area of Mordialloc, parklands, reserves ranging from vast open spaces to small parks and natural bushland, industrial areas and some buildings available. Council encourages filming activity and welcomes artists interested in using the wonderful backdrop our City provides.

When filming in the City of Kingston an application is required to start the process. Please see below where our Policy and application form can be downloaded.

Our Policy provides guidance as to obtaining filming permission in our City and ensures that rights of residents are protected.

Filming activities include safety issues and may result in damage to Council land and assets. All applicants must provide a copy of their Public Liability insurance.
