If an author is on the standing order list, we automatically buy any new titles published by that author. You can still check the catalogue to see if we already hold a title, but if a new book by a standing order author is not listed, we will be purchasing copies. The Collection Management Policy is a planning document produced by the Library that identifies and communicates the long and short-term collection goals and policies of Kingston Libraries. It aims to provide a general framework for the development of all collections, and is devised and maintained in consultation with library staff and customers.
