Getting Started with Email and the Internet
Computer Classes
We understand that people like to learn how to use the internet in a friendly environment. We offer hands-on classes that give you the chance to ask questions. Class sizes are small and notes are provided. All classes are free.
Mouse Skills for Beginners
: If you're starting out and have little experience with using a computer mouse, we suggest you start with this class. It runs for 1.5 hours.
Introduction to the Internet
: If you know how to use mouse and the keyboard, but would like to know more about the Internet, we suggest you book into this class. It runs for 2 hours.
Introduction to Gmail
: If you are needing to know how to get started on email, you can book into our class on the free email service, Gmail. Basic Internet and mouse skills are a prerequsite. Class length is one hour.
Genealogy on the Internet
: This class provides an overview of genealogy resources on the Internet, including popular Australian and international websites. Basic Internet and mouse skills are a prerequisite. Class duration is 2 hours.
Finding Books and more at the Library
: This one hour class will show you how to look things up on the library catalogue, reserve and renew items and give you an overview of resources on the library website. Basic mouse skills are required.
Bookings can be made in person at any of our branches.
