There are many tools and services available online to help you keep track of your library loans. These are provided as free services not only by the library service, but also by third parties not affiliated with Kingston Council.

| Kingston Library Notification Services | | Kingston Libraries send out reservation and overdue notices via email or post. These notices include notification when reservations are awaiting collection, and notification when library items are due to be returned. You can only receive either email OR post notifications, not both at once.
Email Notifications - Emails are sent continuously through out the day. Advanced Notice - Items Due In Two Days Overdue Notice 1 - Items Due Today Overdue Notice 2 - Items Due Last Week Overdue Notice 3 - Final Notice Reservation - Ready For Pickup Reservation - Pickup Reminder
Posted Notifications - Posted notifications are sent daily. Be aware that due to Australia Post you may receive notifications up to 3 days after the original posting date. Overdue Notice 1 - Items Due Last Week Overdue Notice 2 - Final Notice Reservation - Ready For Pickup
Please note: Even if you have opted to receive email notifications we will also send out a posted 'Overdue Notice 3 - Final Notice'
How Do I Receive Emails Notifications? The only requirement is a valid email address. To elect to receive email notifications or to change your email address we have on file, simply visit a library branch or call 1300 135 668. You can also change your email address online by logging into your account and clicking the 'Change PIN and email link.' | |
| Third Party Notification Services | | Note that Kingston is not affiliated with either Library Elf or Library Books, and we cannot offer support.
Library Elf Library Elf is a service that will send you reminder emails 3 days before borrowed items are due and also when items are overdue.
Library Books Library Books is an application for Apple computers running OS X software. It displays a list of all items borrowed and also allows for you to easily access the library catalogue and renew items. | |
