Preschool Storytime
Preschool storytime sessions are held weekly at all branches except Warrigal Road. Storytime is a free service suitable for children aged 2-5. Bookings are not necessary. Sessions include stories, rhymes and songs and are usually structured around a theme (like pets or dinosaurs).

Highett - every Monday at 11am
Chelsea - every Tuesday at 11am
Parkdale - every Tuesday at 11am
Moorabbin - every Thursday at 11am
Clarinda - every Friday at 11am
Cheltenham - every Friday at 11am

Tiny Tots Storytime
 
Tiny Tots Storytime
Tinytots storytime is suitable for children aged 0-24 months. The session includes stories, rhymes and fingerplay. It is held every Thursday at 11.00 am at Dingley Library.

Book Bugs
Book bugs is a club for kids in grades prep, 1, 2 and 3 who are interested in all sorts of books. Kids who join the club are encouraged to attend once a month from 4-5pm for a fun hour of book talk, puzzles, games competitions and craft. The sessions follow themes such as Jokes and Riddles, Aussie Authors and Books from Films, Animals and Scary Stories.

Book Bugs benefits include free reservations for members and the chance to look at all the new kids' books before anyone else! To become a Book Bug, just turn up at one of the meetings and sign up!

Premier's Reading Challenge
The Premier's Reading Challenge for 2009 will run until 31st August. Copies of the reading lists will be printed in the Sunday Age on 15th of February and will be kept at all Kingston Library branches.
