Public Health Plan  Printer Friendly

Kingston's Municipal Public Health Plan aims to encourage the prevention and reduction of diseases and disability while acknowledging that health is about more than just the absence of illness.

Many factors influence health, such as access to services, social economic status and cultural diversity.

All Local Governments in Victoria are required to develop a Public Health Plan under the Health Act and these are intended to act as broad policy documents that provide frameworks for Councils and their communities.

For more details, phone our Health and Social Planning team on 9581 4807.
