7 December 2017
Kingston Council staff are helping spread Christmas cheer to local families in need.
For the past seven years, Council staff members have donated toys to be handed out by Kingston’s Family Support Service.
Kingston Mayor Steve Staikos said this year 110 presents had been donated to put a smile on the face of child at Christmas.
“Throughout the year Council’s Family Support Service helps around 100 local families in need,” Cr Staikos said.
“At Christmas time our staff are happy to donate a child’s present to make sure Christmas is a joyous time for all.
“It’s a great way to support our community at this special time of the year.”
